A major plot point in Ace Combat 06: Fires of Liberation, The Generals are a committee of Estovakian military commanders who took charge of the nation's government after the Estovakian Civil War that was caused by the Ulysses planetfall.

As told in some of the cutscenes, they convinced the Estovakians that a military regime was the only way to restore order to their nation.

Anean Continental WarEdit

A few years after the end of the Civil War, the Generals ordered the Estovakian Military to invade Emmeria. This launched the Anean Continental War.

In the ending scene, it is revealed that, following the destruction of the Chandelier railgun & the subsequent defeat of Estovakia and end of the Anean Continental War, a nation-wide coup d'état was held, thus overthrowing the Generals' government.
