ADFX-01/02 Morgan

The ADFX-01 Morgan, along with its more heavily armed and armored version, the ADFX-02, were built by the South-Belka Munitions Corporation. This company was later acquired by Gründer Industries. The Morgan was put into use during the Belkan War, and its battle data led to construction of the ADF-01 Falken.

The ADFX series (Advanced Defense Fighter Experimental) aircraft design looks like a cross between the airframe of the ADF-01 Falken ZOE and the X-02 Switchblade-winged Wyvern. Its weaponry consists of a high powered 25mm Vulcan cannon, advanced missiles, a prototype TLS weapon pod (predecessor to the Falken's), and an extremely powerful new weapon known as the MPBM, arguably even more lethal than the laser cannon. The MPBM is a scaled-down, single-fire version of the burst missiles deployed by Ace Combat 5's Scinfaxi-Class Submarine. The Morgan can also be equipped with an ECM pod. The ADFX-01 loses power for its ECM pod, while the 02 version has it on continuously to shield it from enemy attacks (although this really tends to aggravate players who find it unfair that the ECM somehow even deflects gun bullets). The ADFX-02 is also known to have an extremely powerful on-board computer system, the likes of which can control the Belkan V-2 Nuclear MIRV missile. Only two models of the ADFX "Morgan" project have been produced, these being the ADFX-01 and ADFX-02. Each aircraft was believed to be under the jurisdiction of the Belkan military. During the Belkan War, on December 31, 1995, an ADFX-02 Morgan engaged another aircraft belonging to the Ustio Air Force's Galm unit, killing the number two pilot of the flight. The lead pilot however soon destroys the ADFX-02 in the ensuing dogfight after numerous usages of the TLS, MPBM, and ECM pod. This meant the destruction of the only known ADFX-02 ever produced. An ADFX-01 was reportedly procured from the Belkans by the Ustio Air Force, but it is unknown whether the Ustian Morgan still exists either. However, it is very likely the aircraft was later used to construct the ADF-01 Falken since there are design simularities.
