This location is first seen in Ace Combat 05: The Unsung War. Akerson Hill is located on 0728'19"N and 16803'23"E geographical area lying on the largest peninsula within Osean Territory. The terrain is made up small rolling hills and plains. Many farmers have plowed out many green fields in this area. Many wind-power electric generators can be seen here as well, scattered around the farming area. As it possesses a long shoreline at the north, it is prone with natural disasters, such as windstorm and earthquake. This area is covered by the Osean Anti-Aircraft system.

Circum-Pacific War (Op. --- ) Edit

On 22 October 2010, Akerson Hill witnessed aerial patrol operations carried out by Osean 108th “Wardog” Tactical Fighter Squadron.

During the operation, the pilots encountered a damaged Osean transport plane designated "Mother Goose One". The transport was accidentally attacked because its objective was to transport Osean President, Vincent Harling, to negotiate with North Point as neutral territory with the Yuktobanian Prime Minister. This “mission of peace” was officially marked as "classified" causing the plane's IFF not to be uploaded into the western AA sites computers which then considered the aircraft which was not transmitting a registered Osean IFF number to be an enemy aircraft. The Wardog squadron escorted the C-5 through the AA coverage area and was also protected from incoming Yuktobanian fighters. After a spy killed the pilot, “Mr. Cargo” and his support staff had to make an emergency landing. Wardog squadron assisted to provide a safe emergency landing.

The “crew” of the C-5 transport were rescued by an approaching squadron. The squadron called themselves the "8492nd Squadron" and relieved the Wardog squadron. That was in fact Balkan aggressor squadron "Grabacr" operating within the Osean Air Defense Force, OADF. It was a piece of the “master plan” to create another conflict with devastating results. The Belkans manipulated both sides in order to regain their former glory of world power, before the Belkan War. The Osean President was kidnapped from Akerson Hill by the “8492nd” and placed in a cell within Steir Castle to “watch over” the seven vaporized Belkan cities.

Geography of Akerson HillEdit

Akerson Hill empties out the western peninsula of Osea into the Ceres Ocean, leading north to Estovakia. The waters seen at the north of Akerson Hill during game play are the same waters that make up the Eaglin Straits a the harbor at Port St. Hewlett.
