Ace Combat 2Edit

The C-17 was first introduced in Ace Combat 2.

A cargo aircraft employed by the Usean Rebel Force, it first appears in mission 02, "Easy Money", which contains three units protected by radar jamming. In mission 08B, "Cuckoo's Nest", two C-17s drop the cargo containers that the player must destroy. It has only a single variant, "Type A", which has a plain gray color.

Ace Combat 04: Shattered SkiesEdit

The C-17A Globemaster III is a transport aircraft in Ace Combat 04: Shattered Skies, one of many which is used by the Federal Erusian Air Force.

It is first introduced as an enemy in the shape of a critical target in the mission "Blockade", in which three units must be shot down while en route to Comberth Harbor. Later on, in "Emancipation", seven units are encountered as secondary targets, grounded on the local aircraft. Finally, a squadron of four C-17s operated by the ISAF appear as friendly targets during "Whiskey Corridor".

Ace Combat Zero: The Belkan WarEdit

The Globemaster in Zero first appears in mission 8 "Merlon" and in the end of each team (Alpha, Beta, Theta) you will escort a friendly squadron (Halo Squadron) of 5 C-17, then later will be destroyed by attacks from the Excalibur.

A single unit in mission 13 "Lying In Deceit" in the base located in the center of the map. If you don't destroy it along with a C-130 they will leave the area together. It takes four normal missiles to destroy it.

Ace Combat X: Skies of DeceptionEdit

Ace Combat 6: Fires of LiberationEdit

The C-17A Globemaster is a heavy aircraft featured in Ace Combat 6: Fires of Liberation. An uncommon aircraft, it is mainly operated by the Estovakian Air Force through the story.

The Globemaster is prominently featured in the first mission, "Invasion of Gracemeria", in which numerous aircraft proceed to enter Gracemeria to deploy paratroopers and airborne tanks around the city. A small number of them later appear as secondary targets in "Anea Landing", and later in "The Moloch Desert".

In online multiplayer, the C-17 is featured in the Siege Battle map "SIEGE BATTLE DOWNLOAD 1". An squadron of aircraft named "Anna" must be protected by the defending team, while the attackers must shoot down all Globemasters to win.

Ace Combat: Joint AssaultEdit

The C-17 makes its sole appearance in mission 18 as a named unit "EXPRESS", where it flies across the map from west to east. It will appear when the first Orgoi appears in the map.

Ace Combat: Assault Horizon LegacyEdit

The C-17 Globemaster III appears in Ace Combat Assault Horizon Legacy in the mission "Cukcoo's Nest". Phoenix must destroy all the C-17s and their dropped cargo before it reaches the ground. If any piece of cargo reaches the ground, the mission is failed.
