DescriptionEdit

The C-17B Globemaster IV is simply a C-17A, modified with larger high bypass turbofans. The turbofan placement has been moved to within the wing (for Coanda effect) to enable better STOL capability. It is COFFIN equipped to lessen crew requirements and is capable of taking on many supporting roles.

The General Resources Defense Force deploy C-17B Globemaster IVs primarily as transports. The Universal Peace Enforcement Organization, UPEO, uses a tanker variant of the C-17B, known as the EK-17B for refueling operations.
