Cinigrad is featured on maps in Ace Combat 5: The Unsung War. Cinigrad is the capital city of Yuktobania. Located in northern Yuktobania, Cinigrad was protected by the so-called "impregnable" Cruik Fortress. It is likely that Cinigrad is much like real-life Moscow, being pleasant in the summer and spring but viciously cold in the wintertime. Coniferous vegetation probably grows in abundance.
Circum-Pacific War
Edit
In November 2010, the Osean Armed Forces began their final advance towards the enemy capital of Cinigrad. However, their advance was hindered by the "impregnable" Cruik Fortress. Two attempts to invade the fortress were thwarted by the fortress's bunkers. Much to the enemy's amusement, a third invasion attempt was carried out in December 6, 2010. Believing that the Oseans would be easily curb-stomped like before, they were oblivious to the fact that they were now escorted by the 108th TFS Wardog, the so-called "Demons of Razgriz". Thanks to the aces of Sand Island, the ground battalion managed to drive right through Cruik, thus marking the fall of the Impregnable Fortress. Following Wardog Squadron's 'death', the Osean forces did not have sufficient support to capture that city, and the war bogged down right outside the city.
