Ace Combat: Assault Horizon
Edit
The F-35B is one of the new fighters introduced in Ace Combat: Assault Horizon, and is operated by the 108th Task Force. It is armed with a belly-mounted GAU-22 Equalizer machine gun for close combat and AIM-9 Sidewinder missiles. Due to its size, it is quick and highly maneuverable. The F-35B is available to the player in the misison Siege and onwards. Interestingly, if the player stalls the aircraft, the aircraft's nose will point down slightly and the player can obtain control obove the aircraft. However, if nothing is done, the aircraft will plummet into the ground. A notable mess-up is that the F-35B also can carry weapons internally, thought the pylons are accurate, and the internal weapons would not be enough for the multirole role it performs.
