The Hornet ADV was used in the beginning of the corporation war as one of the UPEO's plane which was widely used by the UPEO/GDRF during thier initial operations on the Usean Continent. This version was oriented for multi role purposes, To that end a variety of missile loadouts are available to enhance its air to air and air to ground combat capabilities. But thanks to the superior availability and cheap maintenance costs (1 engine is cheaper than 2) of the F-16XA Sakerfalcon, the F/A-18 Super Hornet was largely relegated to second line duties or was given to the UPEO. There are only a few instances where the F/A-18 was used by GRDF which further hints that it isnt popular.
