[edit] No Disturbance - (1994 - 1999)

Located on the Western Peninsula of the Usean Continent, Erusea primarily deals with affairs on the Usean Continent. Erusea did not get involved with the World’s Community until 1994 during the announcement of the discovery of the Ulysses 1994XF04 Asteroid. A project to destroy the Asteroid, before it could impact the planet has set into motion. This Project’s main goal was to create “Stonehenge”. An Array of Super Cannons capable of destroying Asteroid Fragments and other Space Materials of that sort, in Space. Erusea was among many countries which stepped forward and contributed to the construction of Stonehenge.

However, the Erusian Military was on constant alert against the FCU Military, which was deployed near it's borders. Tension had been high between the two forces and it wasn't until 1996 when things began to become hostile. The FCU pulled it's troops out of the Independent State of Ugellas and the Republic of Amber in order to avoid conflict. This decision came after the death of FCU Chief of Staff, Michael Riass and the new Chief of Staff, Commander Robert Taylor took his postition.

As construction of Stonehenge continued into 1998, an unexpected turn of events lead to an armed Usean Rebellion rising on the Usean Continent. The Rebellion spread across the Continent and had held their positions for sometime. The Scarface Squadron was dispatched and managed to destroy the Rebellion across the entire continent.

[edit] The Ulysses and Boiling Points (1999 - 2003)

The Stonehenge Project continued, despite the small set-back and was completed. The Ulysses made planet fall on July 3rd, 1999 and unexpectedly broke into over a thousand fragments. Stonehenge engaged the larger fragments, which threatened to destroy the planet, or cause a large change on the planet. By the end of the catastrophe over 500, 000 people had died around the world, most of them on the Usean Continent. Farbanti, the Erusian Capital City had also taken a direct hit from an Asteroid fragment. However, this did not make Erusea waver from it's position which would take the country into conflict.

Nations within the Usean Continent scrambled to repair the damages and manage around 1,000,000 refugees. Each nation had a set 'quota' of refugees to intake, but Erusea, eventually refused to take in anymore refugees in April of they year 2000. This began was the beginning of the Usean Refugee Dispute. An uproar of criticism circulated through out the Usean Continent.

Many nations on the Usean Continent boycotted Erusian made products as a way to protest their unwillingness to take in refugees. On Erusea's border alone an estimated 600,000 people were confined to refugee camps which had begun to experience disease and sickness.

Suddenly, sometime around August 23rd of 2003, the Erusian Military launched an operation deep within San Salvacion and took control of the Stonehenge. Eventually, the entire nation of San Salvacion was put under Erusian control. The FCU promptly called for the immediate withdrawal of all Erusian Troops and threatened immediate action by an FCU lead coalition force if Erusea did not remove its troops by September 14th of 2003.

A Usean Continental-National Economic Alliance, a group of nations which mutually supported one another, and the FCU, with these recent developments and for other reasons, formed the Independent State Allied Forces (ISAF) after their announcement of possible military action against Erusea.

[edit] Usean Continental War - (2003 - 2005)

Unexpetedly, the Erusian Military crossed the San Salvacion border and launched a pre-emptive strike on the newly formed ISAF Forces. The ISAF was caught completely off guard and with out proper time to prepare for the attack and lack of air support, due to fire from Stonehenge; the ISAF could not properly create a single defensive postition.

By the end of 2003 the ISAF were pushed back to the Eastern Usean Coastline. Los Canas, ISAF GHQ, was taken by Erusian Forces. The neighboring nation of North Point had come forward and volunteered and established the new ISAF GHQ there. A stalemate had fallen between the two sides, only interrupted by small engagements throughout early 2004.

The Federal Erusian Air Force (FEAF) had moved several TU-95 Bear bombers to Rigley Air Base, a former ISAF Facility, in order to attack North Point. On September 19th, 2004 an ISAF unit was scrambled to intercept a Bomber Group which had broken through the ISAF defense line, thanks to Erusian Agents. The Bombers and their escorts were intercepted over Newfield Island by the 118th Tactical Fighter Wing, under the command of an E-767 AWACS Sky Eye. The Bombers and their escorts were destroyed, though the ISAF Allen Fort Air Base had taken damage and Newfield City was also bombed.

The ISAF then attacked Rigley Air Base in order to knock out the Bomber Contingent there. The ISAF Air Strike there was also a success. ISAF GHQ then decided to plan a counter-offensive aimed at retaking the mainland. First they needed to gather their troops from the North to North Point. Radar facilities on top of Mount Schezna were monitoring their every movement. A second air strike was launched against these radars, deep in Erusian held territory. The mission was a success and the ISAF Troops were evacuated.

Erusean Military Command in Farbanti had decided that it was time to stop the ISAF before any large offensive had begun and dispatched their “Invincible” Aegir Fleet. As the Aegir Fleet sailed into Comberth Harbor, on the Western Coast, the ISAF scrambled stop them. Their goal was to invade all of North Point. As the Erusians sent Troops and Supplies to Comberth by Cargo Aircraft, the ISAF began to intercept these Transport Groups. When the Aegir Fleet reached Comberth Harbor they had began to resupply. The ISAF then moved to destroy a Petrol and Off-Shore Oil Facility which the Erusians were using to fuel the Aegir Fleet. The Erusians lost their Petrol Facility and their “Invincible” Fleet was not capable of sailing to North Point. The feared and renoun Erusean Ace “Yellow” Squadron had flown from San Salvacion to the Petrol Facility, but arrived late, due to the distance they had to cover. Though they destroyed many ISAF aircraft, it did not make a large difference.

Erusean High Command attempted to channel supplies by other means, but was too late. On November 6th, 2004 the ISAF launched a sneak-attack on Comberth Harbor and destroyed the fleet before it could launch. This was a large blow to Erusean Forces. With this loss the Erusean plan to invade North Point was put on hold indefinitely.

Erusean HQ was now reeling and attempting to regroup. The ISAF used this momentum and attacked a Solar Power Plant at the edge of Stonehenge’s range, which provided energy for Erusian Facilities on the West Coast. The Facility was destroyed, but Stonehenge unexpectedly attacked and wiped out most of ISAF Aircraft in the area. Erusea was beginning to regroup, but their intelligence found that the ISAF were planning to launch a satellite at a Rocket Facility in the Comona Islands. The Erusean scrambled knowing that, that satellite was part of a vital ISAF operation. The Erusean managed to amass a large portion of their Air Forces at their southern Air Bases and launched a large scale Air Strike against the Comona Islands. The ISAF, needing this satellite for their counter-attack operations, sent every aircraft in range to Comona to defend it. The resulting Air Battle was confirmed as the largest Air Battle in Modern History. At one time during the battle it was confirmed that over 100 aircraft had been in the battle, despite being shot down earlier or before the battle’s end.

Within this Air Battle the “Yellow Squadron” was deployed and managed to shoot down multiple ISAF Aircraft, but they were forced to retreat due to their depleting fuel levels and damage taken. Erusean HQ attempted to destroy the ISAF Rocket by using B-2 Stealth Bombers, but was not successful. The operation resulted in a huge loss of Erusian Air Power and the launch of the ISAF Rocket.

With their satellite in space providing them with data, the ISAF commenced an amphibious assault on three beaches at the South-Western Coastline. The Erusians attempted to channel all of their available forces into the area, but failed in holding the beaches. The ISAF now had a foothold on the mainland and began to push towards Los Canas. Erusea now began to strengthen its defense line and prepare for the ISAF assault. Istlas Fortress was the largest obstacle in the ISAF’s way. Though it was well within Stonehenge’s range the ISAF launched an Air Strike anyways. After an extended operation and being fired on by Stonehenge multiple times, the ISAF managed to destroy most of the Fortress’s fire power, allowing ground troops to pass through and retake Los Canas. Erusea began to see the imminent threat of the ISAF pushing them back into their own nation and began to gather their forces.

Unexpectedly, the Scientists which created Stonehenge with help of implanted ISAF agents, managed to sneak onto two Air Ixion Air Liners and escape Erusian Territory. Fighters were scrambled to shoot down the Air Liners, but a single ISAF fighter managed to fend of the fighters and escort the Air Liners to the nearest Air Base. With the help of these Scientists the ISAF coordinated an attack on Stonehenge itself. Multiple ISAF fighters managed to penetrate Stonehenge’s barrages and attack the eight STN Cannons. The Yellow Squadron, in San Salvacion was launched as soon as the news of the attack had come in. Despite one of their pilots being injured and losing several vital supplies in a ‘Resistance’ attack, they arrived at Stonehenge to find it completely destroyed. They were met by one fighter which managed to shoot down “Yellow 04”, who was wounded. The Stonehenge operation was a large blow to Erusea.

The Erusian Supreme Commander then commanded to construction of Megalith, a super weapon which would replace Stonehenge. The ISAF, fresh from their victory, found Megalith by using a U-2 Dragonlady Spy Plane. Now the ISAF sped all operations, knowing that the war’s outcome hinged on stopping Erusea before Megalith was activated. The ISAF landed troops in the Northern Regions, which effectively pushed Erusea back towards their borders. During the ISAF Northern Landing operations an Erusean Cruise Missile barrage was launched. When they were all intercepted and destroyed, on had exploded filling the night sky with a blinding light. It was believed that this was a Nuclear Weapon, but this has not been confirmed.

The now in full-retreat Erusian Forces had attempted to rally at San Salvacion, their last ISAF City in their control and hold there. The ISAF along side Resistance Members in the city coordinated an attack at Midnight on July 11th, 2005. The dug in Erusian Forces fought ferociously across the entire city. With them the “Yellows” attempted to hold San Profetta Air Port, New City and Old Town, but were also unsuccessful. This was due to the sheer numbers of the ISAF Forces at the scene. When the order to return to Erusea was given multiple Erusian Tu-160 Blackjack Bombers had arrived in the area and began to bomb the city; not wanting it to fall into ISAF hands. The bombers were destroyed and the ISAF had reclaimed all of their land, but they were not finished just yet.

The push into Erusea came soon after; their target was Farbanti. The last Erusean line of defense was in the Whiskey Corridor. Erusea had concentrated all of it’s offensive forces here. The ISAF and the Erusean Military met here in an epic battle spanning the entire Desert area. Despite their attempts, the Erusian lost again. Now Farbanti was in danger.

Farbanti was under siege on September 19th, 2005. As the Erusean Forces fought to hold of the ISAF many Erusean Supreme Commanders had attempted to escape by Air and Sea. The Battle was long and saw many losses on each side, but resulted in the death of all Erusian Commanders, including the Erusian Supreme Commander. Even as the remaining Erusian Forces surrendered, the Yellow Squadron had appeared in Farbanti. Once again they were met by a single aircraft. This pilot was found to be the ISAF Ace of Aces, “Mobius One”. This single pilot was responsible for the success of every major ISAF operation which lead to this day, and the (confirmed) loss of at least one Yellow pilot. The following battle air ended in the destruction of the entire Yellow Squadron and the fall of Farbanti. The war was over.

Then word had come in that many young Erusean Officers had taken over Megalith. It had been completed and was going to be used to attack all ISAF Forces on the continent. It was going to use it’s missile stockpile to strike Ulysses Fragments, which still remained in space and force them to impact in key ISAF areas.

The newly named 118th TFW Mobius was dispatched to destroy Megalith. When they arrived in the area, during a Meteor Shower, they were met by a strong Air opposition. The remaining fifteen members of the Yellow Squadron had gathered there for a fight to the death. Mobius One managed to break through the fighters and flies into Megalith multiple times destroying Power Generators, in order to let an ISAF Infiltration Unit get into the Main Control Room. Mobius One was successful and flew into the Main Missile Silo, where he destroyed an ICBM. The explosion as a result, destroyed Megalith from the inside.

With the fall of these remaining forces all hostilities had ceased and the ISAF began to coordinate a new Erusian Government. The Yellow Squadron Members at Megalith were all killed in action. Many border disputes had flared up after the fall of Erusea in many nations, such as Delarus.

By the end of the war the ISAF had found that the Erusian Air and Space Administration had produced an advanced aircraft during the war. This aircraft had become the pinnacle of Erusian Aviation Technology. The X-02 Wyvern had combined Forward Swept Swing Wing Technology, fully rotate-able Thrust Vectoring, pose able Nose Canards, Stealth Technology and the ability to operate off of Nimitz-Class Aircraft Carriers. The “Switch Blade” as it was called, was a super aircraft which the ISAF had stumbled across and taken for themselves. A few of the early models saw combat, but it was not enough to provide proper battle data. Never the less the ISAF saw the X-02 as a “Super” Aircraft and continued testing it after the war’s conclusion.

[edit] Free Erusea - (2006)

As the new Erusean government was being established many Military Officers refused to put down their arms and formed a rebellion. They called themselves “Free Erusea”. They quickly took an old Weapons and Munitions plant from the Continental War, took to arms, and began to attack the ISAF across the Usean Continent. The ISAF only scrambled two aircraft to stop this rebellion. Mobius One in an F-22A Raptor and E-767 AWACS “Sky Eye.

The “Free” Erusian forces were overwhelmed by the power of Mobius One and soon fell after multiple engagements across the continent. The Free Erusian Forces had unexpectedly launched multiple X-02 Switchblades during the attack on their main base. This was the first time that the X-02 was deployed in full-combat. Mobius One did manage to shoot down the Free Erusian X-02s and the data gathered from this battle finally gave ISAF specialists something to analyze. The X-02’s performance was found to be astounding. The X-02 was later officially named the “Wyvern” and was exported to it’s first buyer on the Osean Continent sometime before 2010.

The ISAF had also found Unmanned Combat Air Vehicle (UCAV) Technology within the same Free Erusian Base. This technology was also taken by the ISAF to strengthen their forces.

[edit] Into the Future - (2007)

Erusea has had no other Military Operations since 2006 and now has a new government. The Erusian Federation was once again back on it’s feet. In 2045 Erusea loses its' identity and becomes a part of the “United States of Euro Asia” along with the rest of the continent.
