A train is a ground vehicle designed to ferry people or cargo through fixed railways. They have been used for multiple purposes in history, including civilian usage and military applications.
Civilian trains[]
The metropolitan areas of Emmeria used railways for transport. Downtown Gracemeria housed a terminal for Train á Grande Vitesse trains, which was taken over by the Estovakian Army in the outbreak of the Emmeria-Estovakia War to transport personnel.[1]
Commercial railways were also used in Aurelia's Monte Breeze industrial area, while another set led to the capital Griswall. Both were used by the Aurelian Liberation Corps during their failed attack on Breeze's weapons factories and their infiltration to Griswall to assist in the liberation of the city from Leasath.[2]

Armored trains[]
Armored trains, cars outfitted with weapons, were deployed by the Estovakian Army in the railroad network surrounding Mount Marcello to protect supply lines for Estovakian troops in Bartolomeo Fortress. They were outfitted with 20mm Skyshield cannons and anti-aircraft missiles, along with long-range artillery and rockets to suppress ground forces.[3]
Such trains were similarly sized to conventional cars, having a width of 3.89 meters, a length of 27.23 meters and a height of 5.91m. Designed to move without a main locomotive, they could achieve a speed of 75 kilometers, with a weight of 147 tons.[3]
Gun trains[]

Gun trains were an ultra-heavy class of armored train deployed during the standoff in Silvat Town. Weighing at 2,940 tons, it was armed with a single 1,000mm cannon with a 100 km range. The cannon was highly cumbersome, requiring a 30-second period to swivel and seven minutes to reload after each shot.[4]
Their girth made them considerably more resilient to standard trains, but were unable to defend themselves from enemy attacks, and thus required a formation of escort vehicles while in action.[4]

- The Gun trains were used as the model for the "Heavy Howitzer", a giant artillery vehicle used in the Ace Combat 6: Fires of Liberation mission "Ragno Fortress" and the Ace Combat Infinity multiplayer mission "Tokyo Martial Law".
