The F/A-18E <DONKEY KONG> is an aircraft exclusively featured in Ace Combat: Assault Horizon Legacy +. Its livery features Donkey Kong from the Donkey Kong series of video games.
Compared to the standard F/A-18E, the <DONKEY KONG> features a massive increase in defense and a slight increase in mobility, in exchange for lower speed and stability. Additionally, all of the aircraft's missiles feature yellow missile smoke.
If the player syncs any Donkey Kong amiibo with the game, they will receive an exclusive skin for the F/A-18E <DONKEY KONG> as well as the special Cockpit part "SP Part 8", which increases the aircraft's air-to-ground capability and allows it to endure kill shots (if the aircraft was hit by a missile that would kill it, the aircraft survives it but stays at 1% health), in exchange for a loss in air-to-air capabilities.

How to Unlock
- The player can unlock this aircraft in-game by destroying Question Block 02 in Cuckoo's Nest.
- The player can also sync any Donkey Kong amiibo to their 3DS to immediately unlock the aircraft, as well as a special part and an alternate skin.
