The AH-64D Apache Longbow is an advanced variant of the AH-64A Apache attack helicopter. It was introduced as a playable aircraft in Ace Combat: Assault Horizon, and was later featured as a non-playable enemy unit in Ace Combat Infinity and Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown.

The AH-64D was deployed extensively by the Osean Federation and the Kingdom of Erusea during the Lighthouse War.[1]
Assault Horizon universe[]
The AH-64D was notably used by Shooter Squadron of NATO's Task Force 108, first known to have seen combat in Africa in the days leading up to the New Russian Federation uprising.[2]
Infinity universe[]
AH-64D was used by the military forces of the UNF and USEA.

Trivia[]
- The Erusean colour of the AH-64D in Ace Combat 7 is the color scheme of the Israeli variant of the AH-64D.
- In Ace Combat 7, when an Erusean AH-64D is shot down, the ensuing wreckage will instead depict an Osean AH-64D. This is likely because no Erusean texture was made for the AH-64D wreckage, and the Osean version is simply reused.
- When an AH-64D is shot down in the replay mode, the animation of the propellers are still rotating whilst the aircraft is going down. The animation resumes even when the helicopter has exploded.
