The KC-10 Extender is an air-to-air tanker aircraft. It has been featured in several Ace Combat games, typically appearing during refueling minigames.

Strangereal[]
During the Belkan War, the Allied Forces utilized the Extender on two notable missions. It was first utilized during Operation Judgment to support friendly aircraft over Tauberg until it was later shot down by Excalibur.[1] In the last day of the war against the organization A World With No Boundaries, it was used again to refuel Allied aircraft en route to Avalon Dam.[2]
During the Continental War, the Extender was used by both the Independent State Allied Forces and Erusea. The latter utilized it to support their fighters in the battle over the Comona Islands.[3] The former was known to have utilized the Extender several times, namely during the attack on Faith Park solar power plant complex[4] and during the second attack on Stonehenge.[5] It was also used to support Mobius One during Operation Katina.[6]
The KC-10 was utilized by both the Osean Air Defense Force and Yuktobanian Air Force during the Circum-Pacific War. A KC-10 was among the Yuktobanian reinforcements during the Jilachi Desert Invasion.[7]
During the Emmeria-Estovakia War, Emmeria utilized KC-10s during the battle of the Selumna Peaks[8] and Estovakia operated dedicated several KC-10s to supply its Aerial Fleet prior to their destruction during the assault on the Aerial Fleet.[9]
KC-10s were further utilised by the Osean Air Defense Force during the Lighthouse War.[10]
During the Aurelian War, the KC-10 was used by the Aurelian Air Force to support their fighter squadrons.[11]
Joint Assault Universe[]
A KC-10 was used to refuel Antares One when Martinez Security were en route to Tokyo to respond to the Valahia's opening attack.[12] Later, the tanker was used to support Antares Squadron's operation throughout the Valahia Crisis.[13]
Assault Horizon Universe[]
A KC-10 sustained heavy damage and crash landed on a NATO air base during the SRN's attack on an East African oil field.[14]
