The Gandr is the prototype of the XB-337 Gleipnir, seen in ACE COMBAT Xi: Skies of Incursion. The Gandr has many differences to the final product; for example, the Gandr lacks both the Digital Optical Stealth & the Shock Cannon on the final design, and the prototype's Shock Wave Ballistic Missile is multifunctional, able to target both ground & airborne targets.

The Gandr managed to intercept the Aurelian fleet heading to invade Griswall. The flight lead of the Falco Squadron, Falco 1, single-handedly managed to destroy the Gandr. However, even after the airship was destroyed, the Aurelian fleet was destroyed, and Falco Team was subsequently suspended. However, Falco team soon returned to the frontline after the Aurelian forces, alongside Gryphus Squadron managed to finally free Griswall.
