Guardian Angel is the 40th mission in the Japanese version of Ace Combat 3: Electrosphere. It is one of the second missions along the Neucom (I) story arc, the other being Zero Gravity, dependent on the player's actions in Power for Life.
Briefing[]
A shuttle from our space development program at Neucom is making re-entry. However, we've picked up intel that suggests that General Resource will try to interfere. Escort the space shuttle so that it can land safely.
Objectives[]
Initial[]
The mission's primary targets are two squadrons of F-22Cs. They must be shot down while protecting the shuttle.
Mission Update[]
If the first two squadrons are not shot down within 4 minutes, a squadron of F/A-32Cs and a squadron of F/A-18Is will appear.[1]

A Rank[]
An A Rank is obtained in this mission by shooting down the first two squadrons in less than 3 minutes.[1]

Thanks to your escort, the space shuttle was able to land, safe and sound.
