ICBMs are long range missiles that typically carry high yield nuclear warheads that have appeared in several Ace Combat games. In Ace Combat 2 and Ace Combat 04, Fortress Intolerance and Megalith were ICBM launch facilities. In Ace Combat 3, there were ICBM launch stations in the Amber Mountains. In Ace Combat: Assault Horizon, an ICBM base is destroyed by Razor Squadron. During the strike, an ICBM targeting the U.S. was launched, but intercepted by William Bishop.  The ICBM featured in Assault Horizon is an RT-2PM Topol, known as an SS-25 Sickle by NATO.
