The Kingdom of Nordennavic is a nation of the Anean Continent, located northwest of the Republic of Emmeria, close to the North Pole. It first appeared in Ace Combat 6: Fires of Liberation and was later featured as the protagonist nation in Ace Combat: Northern Wings.

HistoryEdit

Nordennavic has maintained strict diplomatic neutrality for hundreds of years, and maintins a military for strictly defensive purposes. Ludmila Tolstaya was an Estovakian medical student attending a university in Nordennavic. After the Ulysses 1994XF04 Asteroid fragmented and caused massive damage and political instability across Anea and Usea, the Kingdom feared that their neutrality would be contested, and created the top secret Grendel Squadron with the objective of covertly influencing conflicts that may threaten Nordennavic. Grendel would operate during the Usean Refugee Dispute, Usean Continental War, Circum-Pacific War, Estovakian Civil War and the Anean Continental War under complete secrecy. During the Estovakian Civil War, the Kingdom of Nordennavic supported the Eastern Faction, although the amount of their involvement in the conflict is unknown.

Geography and EconomicsEdit

There is many great lakes and forests in the cold, rich land of Nordennavic which house a thriving machinery industry, there is also many leading worldwide companies, such as Macmillan Heavy Industries based here.

Probable Real World CounterpartEdit

Nordennavic is based on the Scandinavian nations, most likely Norway, as the Grendel Squadron aircraft are named after elements of Norse Mythology.
