Biography

Early life and Belkan War
Edit
During his early days at the Belkan Air Force, he flew as a student at the Kellerman Institution, an academy for top-end pilots trained by Dietrich Kellerman, time at which he displayed his innate flying abilities, managing to shoot down 25 Allied aircraft as a rookie. After the beginning of the Belkan War, he was assigned to the 5th Tactical Fighter Squadron "Ofnir" as their flight leader.
In late May 1995, Heimeroth partook in the legendary Operation Battle-Axe at Airspace B7R. During the battle, Michael was engaged and shot down by Ustio's 66th AFU Galm. Following the end of the Belkan War in June 6, Michael joined the Yuktobanian Air Force.
Circum-Pacific War
Edit
15 years later, in 2010, Michael would return to conflict. Like Ashley Bernitz and his Grabacr Squadron, Michael and the Ofnir unit secretly served as infiltrators of the Grey Men, a mysterious group of Belkans who sought to restore their country back to its former glory, posing as an aggressor squadron. His first involvement with the Ghosts of Razgriz took place in mid-December 2010, where flight leader Blaze conducted a reconnaissance operation at the north Belkan Yering Mine, successfully escaping the pursuing Belkan fighters in the process.
He would later return in Dec. 31, 2010 during Operation Arcadia, where a joint Grabacr-Ofnir formation engaged the Razgriz in an attempt to stall them while the SOLG satellite fell into the Earth. At the end, all Belkan aircraft were shot down, and it is presumed that neither Heimeroth nor his wingmen survived.
Appearances
Edit
Michael first appears in mission 23 of Ace Combat 5, where he attempts to shoot down the Razgriz in the second half of the mission, only to be shot down in a high-speed dogfight through the Payavlenie Ravine by Blaze. He later returns in mission 27+, where he is one of the Belkan pilots trying to kill the Razgriz. At this point, his death is not required to advance.
Michael appears in mission 10 ("Mayhem / Operation Battle-Axe") of Ace Combat Zero, as the named pilot "Ofnir" and is seen flying a whitish-grey F-15S/MTD (The same color scheme adopted by the Grabacr Squadron's F-15S/MTDs during the Circum-Pacific War). (Number 092 in the Assault Records). He only appears on the Soldier Ace Style path, after the mission update, and when the Schnee Squadron enters the battle.
Michael's paint scheme appears in Ace Combat: Joint Assault. His paint scheme is available as the 2nd paint scheme for the F-15S/MTD.
Trivia
Edit
- Since he was a former student of Dietrich Kellerman it could be possible that he was once a part of either The First or Second Season Silber Squadron.
- He appears in Ace Combat Zero: The Belkan War piloting a F-15S/MTD alongside another ace pilot from the Belkan and Circum-Pacific wars, Ashley Bernitz, also known as the commander of the 229th Tactical Fighter Squadron "Grabacr".
