The successor to Mirage III and the Mirage F1. The prototype flown on March 10th 1979 and later entered service in 1984. The Mirage 2000-5 was developed into a multi-role fighter. The dimentions of the Mir 2000-5 are the following: Length - 14.6m; Wingspan: 9.1m; Hieght: 5.2m. The features of the Mir 2000-5 consist of a low delta wing profile. It has a single SNECMA M53 turbofan and has a sharp pointed nose. This aircraft has a 800nm range of action and the aircraft is also equipped for mid-flight refueling, if needed.
