Plot
Edit
The Union of Yuktobanian Republics has declared war on the Osean Federation, simultaneously launching a surprise attack on the coastal city of Port St. Hewlett, where the Osean Maritime Defense Force's 3rd Naval Fleet is currently stationed. Having returned from their interception mission of the coast of Sand Island, the 108th Tactical Fighter Squadron rearms at base before departing to the city.
The squadron arrives to St. Hewlett at 12:05hrs, and are given an emergency briefing while en route. After arriving, AWACS Thunderhead commands Kei Nagase to assume control as squadron leader, but refuses and gives the position to Blaze, who becomes the team's leader. Their conversation is interrupted by Captain Marcus Snow, who flies by them and rushes towards the harbor.
Wardog arrives to St. Hewlett, much of it razed by the brutal Yuktobanian assault and begins their mission to defend the harbor from the enemy, protecting the Third Naval Fleet and its flagship, the OFS Kestrel as they escape towards open waters. Defeating most of the Yuke aircraft raiding the harbor along with the local Osean ships and air forces, they succeed in getting the Kestrel outside St. Hewlett, and assist their fleet in fighting off a Yuktobanian naval fleet blocking their path.
Wardog destroys several bombers and destroyers aiming for the Third Fleet, and successfully get them through the naval blockade. Nicholas Andersen, the commander of the Kestrel, congratulates the Osean pilots' courage over the airwaves, including Wardog and Captain Snow, himself a pilot of the ship. Having accomplished their mission, the squadron returns home.
