Added by Ícaro Ghost37November City is seen in Ace Combat 5: The Unsung War. It is Osea's second largest city, with thousands of citizens. One of the major plot-affecting missions takes place here, though does not serve many other purposes in AC5.
Geography
Edit
The geography around this metropolis is a typical river valley. Also known as "The Mile City", it is surrounded by rolling hills in Southern Osea. November City also has water access to the Gunnel River that flows into the Pacific Ocean.
Circum-Pacific War (Op. Supercircus)
Edit
Warning: Major plot spoilers are stated below.
During the Circum-Pacific War, the Osean Vice President held a war rally within the football stadium there. However, it resulted in the Osean public rallying against the war, rather than with it. Unexpectedly, a Yuktobanian strike group somehow penetrated Osean airspace and attempted to attack the Vice President. The 108th TFS Wardog were on station, after just completing a ceremonial fly over and attempted to hold off the Yuktobanian fighters and bombers until reinforcements arrived. The squadron, known to the Yuktobanian military as the "Demons of Razgriz", continued to engage the Yuktobanian forces in an attempt to limit civilian casualties during the stadium evacuation.
Electronic jamming waves were suddenly emitted in the area, jamming all communications. All Osean aircraft were suddenly told to report back to base by the 8492nd Squadron, leaving Wardog without any support. Wardog 3, Alvin H. Davenport, was shot down and killed in action. The remaining Wardog fighters destroyed almost every enemy aircraft in the area in response, until Osean aircraft were called back to the city by AWACS Thunderhead and arrived on station. At that time the remaining Yuktobanian aircraft had left the area.
