Puna Airbase is seen in Ace Combat X: Skies of Deception. The area surrounding the Leasath Forward Air Base, the Puna Plains, looks like an arid desert-like region in central Aurelia.

Leasath - Aurelia WarEdit

Puna Base was a hastily constructed forward operating base, serving as a resupply base for Leasath bombers. Since Aubrey Base was out of striking range for enemy bombers, Puna Base was constructed. The base housed several B-52 Stratofortresses, C-5B Galaxy cargo planes, F-5E Tiger IIs, A-6E Intruders and F-4E Phantom IIs.

A short time after the Aurelian Air Force successfully fought off a Leasath bomber squadron from Puna Airbase, but was nearly wiped out by the Gleipnir, the Aurelian Air Force quickly attacked Puna Airbase. Not only would this attack make up for lost time and supplies by attacking Leasath's most forward base, it would also serve as a staging area for retaking Port Patterson; a key location if the Aurelian Forces were to sustain a counterattack.

The base was heavily damaged by Gryphus 1, when he, along with surviving Aurelian forces, launched the assault on the base. All bombers were destroyed, as well as the primary structures. Leasath forces subsequently abandoned the base and Aurelia took over. The base then served as a forward GHQ for further offensives into Aurelia.
