RAH-66 Comanche
Talk0this wiki
The RAH-66 Comanche was a prototype helicopter manufactured in tandem by Sikorsky and Boeing Helicopters. Touted by the US military as the first step towards an all-stealth airborne fleet, the Comanche was intended to replace the AH-1 Cobra and OH-58 Kiowa, as well as supplement the AH-64 Apache. The RAH-66 project was cancelled in 2004 after nearly two decades of development.
Air Combat
Edit
The RAH-66 is an attack helicopter used by the Kaluga coup d'état forces. In the mission "Night Attack on a Coastal City", two Comanches appear as non-critical targets. It is later featured once more in "Strike!", where five helicopters patrol the ravine the player must fly through.
Ace Combat 2
Edit
In Ace Combat 2, the RAH-66 Comanche is a basic attack helicopter used by the Usean Rebel Force. It is featured solely in the mission "Electric Dreams", in which a formation of eight choppers defend the target elemental particle lab.
