The Su-27 Flanker is an aircraft designed by Russian plane developer Sukhoi. This aircraft has been featured in four games in the Ace Combat series, Ace Combat 5: The Unsung War, Ace Combat Zero: The Belkan War, Ace Combat X2: Joint Assault, and Ace Combat X: Skies of Deception. An advanced two-seater variant was produced called the Su-30. A variant with canards and thrust-vectoring was produced as the Su-35 Super Flanker as well as the experimental Su-37 Terminator technology demonstrator, and a fighter-bomber variant, the Su-32 Strike Flanker which features a unique side-by-side cockpit.

Ace Combat: Joint AssaultEdit

Pretty fast fighter with average air-to-air capability and bad air-to-ground capability. Valahia used two Su-27 to protect the flying fortress Spiridus during an attack on London in mission 12, used several Su-27 to protect radars in the Serbian mountains (mission 13), and for the protection of the giant rail gun Balaur in Romania (two Su-27, mission 14).
