During the cutscene directly prior to "Sea of Chaos", two ships that defy the Yuktobanian fleet are named Pitomnik and Gumrak. These are both names of airfields used during the Battle of Stalingrad during the Second World War. Furthermore, the frigate Pitomnik, which is the first Yuktobanian ships to side with the Kestrel is destroyed by its own fleet, is also probably a reference to the 1925 Soviet Propaganda film Battleship Potemkin (See the similar name), which features a similar ship that rebels against their direct authority.
I'm not really sure if this would qualify as an easter egg, or a reference. Any ideas?
