The Rebel Air Force seen in Ace Combat 2 consisted of former Military Personnel that had staged a Coup d'état while the leaders of various Usean nations were at a peace summit. The Rebels had seized numerous weapons and equipment during their uprising. Everything from Aircraft, Ships, Ground vehicles and The Extra Powerful Cruise Missiles were in their arsenal and to top it off; the Rebels had several deadly Ace squadrons at their disposal, the Ace squadrons were led by an ultra elite unit called "Z.O.E." Unfortunately, no one had for seen the consequences of the Rebels eventual defeat, a defeat that would give the nation of Erusea unprecedented strength for their own ambitions.
