If the WMD catalyst was blown up, how come there wasn't a secondary explosion? It blew up, and then the nukes weren't.

I was thinking that they didn't load the cars at first. But then again, why were they scrambled when we came?

Also in AC5, how exactly did the '8492' kidnap the president? Load them in a cockpit? Land on the grass?
